  • Will perform routine and special audits of processes and products at various stages of the production process to identify opportunities for improvement and material non-conformances.

  • Will utilize the control plan and testing plan and assure that the products produced meet requirements.

  • Complete all required shift quality documentation and reports.

  • Participate in and lead 8D and Quality Improvement Teams.

  • Understand and support the SPC /InfinityQS applications on shifts.

  • Identify, hold and evaluate suspect material.

  • Provide training for associates in the application and use of the SOP’s, QAP’s, QWI’s, and CQP’s as directed.

  • Review and analyze HFI’s and HFI data.

  • Uphold and support the Company’s Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies.

Job Requirements


  • Two-year associates degree from an accredited college or technical school. In lieu of education have a minimum ten (10) years experience as a quality auditor in a manufacturing environment.

  • ASQ Certification as one of the following can be used in lieu of some or all education requirement:

  • Quality Technician

  • Quality Improvement Associate

  • Quality Process Analyst

  • Quality Inspector

  • Strong math skills including statistics as well as basic algebra.

  • A minimum of five (5) years experience as a quality auditor in a manufacturing environment.

  • Fluent in English. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Other language skills appropriate to the local environment would be desirable.

  • SPC experience required

  • Infinity/QS experience preferred

Other requirements

  • Ability to work without direct supervision, self starter.

  • Physical requirements include ability to stand and walk for long periods, good visual acuity, good physical dexterity.

  • Strong critical thinking skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills. Able to communicate and work with others, and be assertive as required.

  • Must have good problem solving and reasoning skills.

  • Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong computer skills – specifically Microsoft Word and Excel
