Will perform routine and special audits of processes and products at various stages of the production process to identify opportunities for improvement and material non-conformances.
Will utilize the control plan and testing plan and assure that the products produced meet requirements.
Complete all required shift quality documentation and reports.
Participate in and lead 8D and Quality Improvement Teams.
Understand and support the SPC /InfinityQS applications on shifts.
Identify, hold and evaluate suspect material.
Provide training for associates in the application and use of the SOP’s, QAP’s, QWI’s, and CQP’s as directed.
Review and analyze HFI’s and HFI data.
Uphold and support the Company’s Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies.
Two-year associates degree from an accredited college or technical school. In lieu of education have a minimum ten (10) years experience as a quality auditor in a manufacturing environment.
ASQ Certification as one of the following can be used in lieu of some or all education requirement:
Quality Improvement Associate
Quality Process Analyst
Strong math skills including statistics as well as basic algebra.
A minimum of five (5) years experience as a quality auditor in a manufacturing environment.
Fluent in English. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Other language skills appropriate to the local environment would be desirable.
SPC experience required
Infinity/QS experience preferred
Ability to work without direct supervision, self starter.
Physical requirements include ability to stand and walk for long periods, good visual acuity, good physical dexterity.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Strong interpersonal skills. Able to communicate and work with others, and be assertive as required.
Must have good problem solving and reasoning skills.
Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Strong computer skills – specifically Microsoft Word and Excel
